It’s a New Year

I can honestly say that this new year came in beautifully.  A few years ago I would have never imagined myself in the type of relationship I am in with a wonderful man.  This wonderful man will be leaving for California in a few weeks for his job until May so I will be responsible for holding down the fort and whatnot here in S.C. Go figure this past Wednesday, January 7, 2015 at 8:00 pm, I was rear-ended hard, not just a jolt, while driving down the road at about 45 mph.  Immediately I tensed up and braked, which of … Continue reading It’s a New Year

soulmate

MY SOULMATE     You are the only man who will ever know; Each and every emotion I could possibly show The woman I am under all that can be seen You are the one and only who knows my entire being The man you are behind the face Is who I love nobody can take your place We both know it’s been worth the wait Forever true love and an eternal soul mate Our love is a timeless treasure Even if we tried we couldn’t measure The love we hold for one another For either of us there is … Continue reading soulmate

Peterpan Syndrome

You’re only a child once so enjoy it while it lasts Once you’ve grown out of having fun the rest is in the past Hoot and holler, dance and sing Don’t let the reigns of growing up add an extra sting As you sit and relish upon your life as it once was so fun Have no regrets and continue to live as so many others have done As each year passes by continue to poke things to see what you can do Don’t sit around feeling sorry for yourself or ever feeling blue You are only as old as … Continue reading Peterpan Syndrome

SLIPPING AWAY

Slipping away When you feel yourself completely losing control You wonder what the hell is going on and why How did you get this far in the first place? If you allow yourself to lose it heads will surely roll Look around, don’t panic, and especially don’t you cry Take a breath and think about how you must state your case It starts out with the little things and slowly slips away Slowly but surely the little things start to add up to more More than ever now it seems to be one big mess You feel yourself losing everything … Continue reading SLIPPING AWAY

A paper I did as a visual argument on Bi Polar disorder

The series of pictures above were created and printed as an attempt to show the many changes and developments in different stages of bi polar disorder and or other possible mental disorders.  In hopes of using some humor and as few words as possible and by showing how to possibly get treatment for their loved ones or even themselves, by contacting their local mental health clinic.  The first slide shows a woman of 30 years of age and the many manic episodes and the symptoms that go along with them.  Many people aren’t diagnosed until they are in … Continue reading A paper I did as a visual argument on Bi Polar disorder

Asking Why?

Asking why? It always seems to be when an angle is needed Some of the most beautiful, gifted, and talented are chosen Most of us question why this person was chosen to be So many of the ones chosen have already spread their seeds Time stands still and very quiet, for a brief moment time is frozen We ask why you would take this person from me It just seems to be the natural order of things To disbelieve and to ask so many questions why I needed that person in my life right now, how could you Questions left … Continue reading Asking Why?

what you are to me

WHAT YOU ARE TO ME!   You are my sunshine on a cloudy, rainy day My tall glass of water while baking in the hot sun My map when I think I’ve lost my way You are my fiesta when I need lots of fun   You are the blood that courses through my veins The one who catches me if I stumble and fall My reason for smiling again and again There by my side before I ever call   The reason my heart skips a beat You’re the rhythm keeping it in sync The moment I saw … Continue reading what you are to me
